I want to apply for two driving jobs. I have a 1988 car licence thatIt means up to 44 tonne artic. LGV means large goods vehicle and
allows be to drive
B, C1, D1, B+E, C1+E, D1+E, FKLNP
This allows me to drive 7.5T or 7.5T + trailer (over 750kg) - total
weight not exceeding 8250Kg
The Job description is LGV DRIVER CLASS 1
Can you tell me
LGV = 7.5T or under yes?
What does 'class 1' mean ?
replaces the term HGV. Class 1 is the equivalent to C+E.
You need Categories C + E. You only have C1.
If that is true am I allowed to drive commercial 7.5T on my licence? You can only drive up to 7.5t. You cannot drive an artic.
i.e. Do I qualify for the job? - It says no experience necessary -
and I have driven 7.5T before.
