Dodging the issue again Doug? I didn't ask you where it came from,
I asked where you bought it from. Who you buy it fom decides
whether or not their profits go into researching less damaging
ways of producing electricity or to building more polluting coal
fired power stations.
What was that about believing marketing guff?
The amount of renewable energy produced in this country has no
relationship whatsoever to the number of people who sign up to
"renewable" tariffs - it's entirely constrained by the planning &
construction processes. No more, no less.
Well done, you've just displayed Doug's style of argument.
Umm, no, reality and facts rarely intrude on Duhg's style of argument.
G'wan, then - if I were to sign up to a green/renewable tariff
tomorrow, how would they increase output to provide that, in a way
that they won't if I don't?
That's your argument not mine and the only answer I can give to that
questions is "I don't know".
Bugger, sorry, didn't mean to be quite *that* rude.
I can take it. Particularly as it'll give me an opportunity to laugh
at your gullibility(1) soon.
1. Did you know that word's not in dictionary.com's online dictionary?
Really?
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/gullibility
"gullibility, noun, tendency to believe too readily and therefore to be
easily deceived"
It's also in the online OED, if you've got access.
