Why do they assume that each car would only contain 1 person?
Why do they assume that each bus carries 80 passengers?
Nitpicking.
Average occupancy of a bus in central London is 44 passengers:
http://www.tfl.gov.uk/corporate/media/newscentre/archive/3852.aspx
Average car occupancy is 1.6 passengers (do a google search and you
will find several sources stating this)
Even using the numbers above, one bus is equivalent to 28 cars, which
consume an order of magnitude more space than the bus, once you factor
in the headway of each car, and the fact that each cars needs to be
parked in the city for the entire duration of stay.
Despite consuming at least 20 times more public space than cyclists or
bus passengers, motorists in London still insist on that they have the
God given right to use that share of space for free. Not only that,
they also have the audacity to claim that they are disadvantaged
victims. The parasites are completely blind to the gross inequalities
illustrated above.
