Often the problem is getting the food to the poor. Its often hard to
distribute the food.

Especially as when it gets there it is too expensive to buy.

focusing on the prices of gasoline at the pumps. While many worry
about filling their gas tanks, many others around the world are
struggling to fill their stomachs. And it's getting more and more
difficult every day..."

The poor are often the ones having problems filling their tanks.

Many of the starving poor don't even have tanks.
