Can anyone point me at data which shows the breakdown of drink drive

I doubt that data would be available anywhere, but I could be wrong.
For a proper comparison you would also need to how many people drink-
drive, and don't get caught, and what their level of intoxication is.
A reduction from 80mg to 50mg 100ml of blood would bring us into line
with some European countries.
The question I'm trying to answer is who kills people?
Drink drivers at or around the current limit, in which case reducing the
limit saves lives
or
Drink drivers far in excess of the current limit, in which case reducing
the limit will have little effect, if they ignore the current limit they
will ignore the new one.
I am sure I read a while ago that it was the second case, often repeat
offenders who would regularly drive home from a pub, rather than the
odd person just a bit over the limit.
I like the campaign of not drinking at all before driving, which is
much more effective than saying it is ok to drink one pint and get in
a car.
