Investing ethically doesn't mean you won't make a healthy profit too,

Shocking predictions of rising sea levels and distressing reports of
human exploitation for the sake of profit are finally starting to
change the way we live, play and invest.

Research carried out by the Investment Management Association shows
that ethical funds under management reached £5.9bn in the last quarter
of 2007, up 18 per cent on the year before. Meanwhile, the Co-op has
found that interest in ethical investment also increased by 18 per
cent in the past year.

In theory, ethical investment is a great way to further both your

...and your point is what exactly... you don't agree with profit? -
maybe you'd rather there was more equality in our society, is this why
you don't like people who own cars - especially expensive ones? maybe
you'd be happier if there were more Trabants on the road??

What I object to here is profit by deception at the expense of the
environment, by duping people like motorists into thinking they are
saving the planet and their reputations by using aggrofuels.

You seem to see conspiracies everywhere you look Doug, don't you think
you should seek some advice about your paranoia? There will always be
opportunists who can make a dollar on the back of bad news - look at
Livingstone, your not telling me that the congestion charge isn't just
another way of making money...
