I gave two references, one of which was The New York Times. A newspaper
with a better reputation than "The Times" not least because the NYT is
not owned by the Dirty Digger hence it does not have someone in charge
who manipulates the news on a daily basis.

Your attempt to portray the NYT as "a politically biased pressure group"
makes you look a bit of nit.
