What about the witnesses?

If the police investigate, I hope they talk to the witnesses, and give
due consideration to what they say.

Not much more to say, really, is there? And no relevance to transport
whatsoever ...

Use of a car to knock someone down is not related to transport?

Not in this instance, no. If deliberate, it was a criminal act, using
the car as a weapon in relation to an unrelated issue.

Why am I not surprised that posters here are trying to excuse the
actions of the driver. Had it been the other way around, ARA using GBH
on a driver, we would never hear the end of it here.

So in Duhg world, me saying "If the car driver deliberately ran down
the protestor (which is entirely unclear from the video), then I
condemn it and hope that the police investigate and, if appropriate,
prosecute" is excusing the actions of the driver?? I couldn't really
have been clearer in my condemnation (assuming a crime has been
committed), could I? Unlike you, who squirms, twists and turns in
order to excuse criminal acts by ARTs.
