It's all a part of this really disturbing trend for people to refuse to accept critisism or censure with good grace these days. Take me as a bus driver. It is illegal and bloody anti-social for the proles and chavs I drive around to play their junk music out loud on a bus, so I ask them to turn it off. You would hardly believe the agro such a simple request can cause.

Likewise with speeding. They don't believe the cameras are there as a tax fiddle for one second. Nor do they believe that they have no purpose in the fight for road safety. They simply object to ANYONE telling them what to do for ANY reason. That's what people are like these days: selfish. And there is no greater symbol of this arrogant selfishness than the badge on the front or back of someones car.
