It's called the free market and is driven by money.
But global warming is expected to cost us loads in damage and loss of
life. I agree that GW is wide open to profiteering opportunists
exploiting the gullible but that doesn't detract from the basic
premise that we are creating a catastrophic situation with our waste
of resources and damage to the planet.
Are we? I agree that pumping out pollution isn't a good idea, but there not
yet any firm evidence that it's causing the planet to warm up over and above
it's normal cyclical changes.
We are all responsible, to a
greater or lesser degree but those in denial over GW, for obvious
reasons, are the worst by far.
What about those of us who are in denial about our own habits contributing
to this alleged global warming?
