If only the drivers who used pavements were putting themselves at a
similar risk ;-)
And a barely more common occurrence too, in my experience; I've never seen a cyclist on the motorway, while I have once seen someone driving a car along the pavement (using the pavement as a slip-road onto a 40mph urban road).
I have seen (just about) a cyclist riding on an unlit NSL dual carriageway at night, in dark clothing, with no lights. I wonder if the same chap has moved to somewhere near the M1?
