Are You One Of The Top Lorry Drivers'

My name is David Scott-Smith and I am the Training Programme Manager
for a Company called Eurosafe Training Ltd and we are situated in sunny
Ramsgate in KENT.

As a company, for the last two years we have been working alongside The
City & Guilds Institute London, culminating in the development of The
Level 3 Technical Certificate in Driving Goods Vehicles 3291.

On the 16th September, hosted by Mr Brian Weatherley, Editor in Chief
of Commercial Motor, the Certificate was launched by Dr Steven Ladyman
Minister for Transport, to a very receptive audience of Employers,
Government Bodies and Transport Associations.

The City & Guilds Level 3.... Driving Goods Vehicles Certificate.....
3291 takes a Large Goods Vehicle Drivers theoretical knowledge that
extra mile. The course is aimed at new drivers, wanting to establish a
sound footing within the industry, equally it is aimed at existing
drivers, who want to clarify their knowledge and have it recognised by
an accredited body. The course consists of ten units and is tested
on-line in 3 separate multiple choice exams, using The City & Guilds
GOLA System.

Our main aim is to implement the training as soon as possible, so as to
turn back the growing tide of apathy amongst drivers and to enhance the
professional respect that we deserve from employers and the public at
large. TO DO THIS, WE NEED TRAINERS!

Who can deliver this new concept in Transport training?

Most Transport Company's have a senior driver as a figurehead and
benchmark setter who other drivers will always turn to for advice and
guidance. These drivers have the life skills and anecdotal experience
to become worthy instructors for the Transport operator that they work
for.

More radically, it's a fair estimate to say that's nearly 2000 LGV
licenses are revoked annually due to ill health. I think all
long-standing drivers know of an individual who has been a driver all
their life, only to succumb to some form of medical problem and have to
leave the industry, with little option left other than to rely on the
state, or take a third rate job. What a total waste of so much valuable
knowledge.

I reckon that your site has quite a few pushed out Drivers, pinning for
the old days, who fit our bill perfectly.

We can take any nominated senior driver, or ex driver with the suitable
life experiences and teach them the most suitable style of delivery to
enable the required knowledge and course content for City & Guilds 3291
to be passed onto others... In house to a controlled schedule that
suits the operator, or on a freelance base that suits any other
individual. If you are that senior driver, pester that boss, show him
the benefits of an accredited driver.

City & Guilds 3291 is a Qualification written by drivers, for drivers
and we are in no doubt of its eventual future standing within the
Transport Sector.

I hope that you can see the benefits that this can bring to so many
people. Remploy, the Disability Organisation is very interested and is
looking into sourcing ex drivers to us. Obviously there are loads of
funding options out there, to help people get back to work. An ex
driver due to medical grounds, out of work and over 50 years old will
be entitled to sufficient funding to help us re-inject valued life
skills back into the Transport Sector.
This is not spam, nor is it a get rich quick scheme. Any posted
Questions will be answered.
