I just don't understand this huge down on the Circle. I can't
remember when it last let me down.
You can't have used it all that much, then - gaps of 20 minutes
plus are ...
... completely standard.
Not IME and I've experienced plenty of District disruptions. I've had
20 minute delays there more than on the Circle.
It probably depends on what you're doing with the District. If you
want to go to one particular branch, say to Richmond, then you can
have long waits while nothing but Ealings, Wimbledons and Circles go
through.
But if you're lucky enough to be going somewhere served by more than
one branch, then that increases your chance of a good train. You
don't have that luxury waiting for the Circle.
Er, I thought it might have been clear from this thread that I tend to be
using the Wimbledon branch, seeing as how I tend to be visiting my mother
who lives where I grew up in Putney! The 20 minute waits are commonly at
Earl's Court.
