Well, you can sort of see through some of them, but the view is pretty poor,
and it is easy to miss your stop if you are on an unfamiliar route.
I agree with the recent article about these in Buses Magazine - bus managers
show a total disregard for passengers by sticking these adverts over the
windows - why don't they stick them on their own luxury cars instead ? .

Any medical experts out there ? I always understood that flickering lighting
could trigger epileptic fits in sensitive people. When the bus is moving, I
find the moving pattern of dots has the same effect as flickering lights,
and sometimes visually disturbing, but thankfully I am not epileptic. Could
there be certain speed ranges of the bus that could cause these adverts to
induce epileptic fits in sensitive passengers ? Has anyone done a proper
safety hazard assessment of the possible health effects on passengers
travelling inside buses with contravision adverts on the windows ?


(Personally, I do my best to avoid travelling on buses with contravision
junk on the windows)
