Is there really NOTHING I can do about this please?
Also a problem to ignore "International" calls when low cost calls
providers often route calls from outside the UK, so even friends,
family or your next-door neighbours call can come up international.
It's about time BT stopped masking the international number and just
displayed it.
What does the OP regard as a fair price ?
I would have supposed that the BT CTR (Choose To Refuse) service could
do it and BT can offer a one month free use of CTR to someone getting
nuisance calls.
I have a note
BT CLI
WITHHELD
UNAVAILABLE
INTERNATIONAL
PAYPHONE
OPERATOR
RINGBACK
Within the last two years I have never had anything except the first
two - is the list still valid ?
On my BT line I have had CLI 002135371000 and 0016122569958 for example
which I had supposed were international calls that did not reach the UK
over a BT switch.
