Thanks for the general conclusion that a new line from BT might be the
quickest way. I have written to Orange to say if we have to go down
this route because of their error, I will reclaim the money in a SMall
Claims' Court!! Trouble is, father-in-law wants his old number back 8(
Probably should have just left the line with Orange. What caused you to
want to revert to BT?

...two bills...one to my son for broadband only, one for my father-in-
law for line rental and voice calls. My son was paying all the costs
and then having to recharge his grandfather for line+calls.

PS When the old voice line is re-instated, will the dropped Orange
broadband be reactivated automatically? (This element is still being
charged for on a DD)
