I client of mine has a BT versatility PABX with an ADSL add -on unit.
Is this unit just an ADSL router that can be connected to a switch via
ethernet to give internet access to clients already on the network or
is it a locked down box with a preconfigured number of allowed clients
like BT's old ADSL business router products did? Anyone know anything
about this unit as my client wants to expand availability of their ADSL
to more users.
2 different types, the original internet module and newer broadband
module which also supports BT broadband voice & I think WLAN.
Its just a basic ADSL router which can be configured with the
versatility PC software.
It only has 4 ports equipped but you can add a switch or hub to this if
you want to add more users (max 100 according to docs) as you have
presumed correctly.
