if you want the dacs removed then all you need do is order bb.i used to do
this a lot when i worked for bt.as long as your exchange is bb enabled then
bt are obliged no matter what to get bb to your home no matter what the
cost.if they tell you differnt then complain and threaten to goto oftel.
a dacs is a bit like the old 'party line'normally put in when there is a
line shortage,get a lot of this in rural areas
