Yes, I was one of the unfortunates to purchase this phone, having thenI had a e313, probably the most un-ergonomic phone ever made with it's
not learnt that buying a decent phone first time round is the real
answer. Anyway, I just found it in my garage and, embarrassingly, I
want to unlock it and use it again! I guess the cheapskateness and the
faddy novelty are things that never wear off! So, is there a cheap/free
way of unlocking this piece of junk yet?
Also, has anyone install messenger on it? I'd like to get a new 3 pay
as you go sim (yes i know i don't have to unlock it that being the case
but.....) and take advantage of the free messenger deal. Thanks
buttons in all the wrong places.
Put it in the bin and go buy a new Skype S2 on 3Pay for 39.99, and if
you are a member of quidco, get 11quid cashback on it as well
Then you'll have Messenger, Facebook, Skype and a dozen other services,
as well as a far better phone that also makes a great HSDPA modem.

granted it's not a great phone but then that's all the more reason to
experiment with it and damn the consequences. (I already have a 6120c for
all those functions anyway). Besides, i understand that now it can be
used as a modem/dongle and even tho only at 364k (or whatever it is
exactly) that's not half bad as a back up. Wireless internet at anywhere
above a meg is pointless anyway given the high data charges that still
apply.
Although the S2 is a good deal, i'd rather get a free 3 sim and pay a
£5er for the cable for this.
Any ideas as to the exact OS and version on this?
