I'm now on my 3rd N95 and 3 have offered to swap it for a K850i. Should
I go
for it?
cheers

Try and get the N95-3. It's better than the N95-1 in terms of battery
life and reliability. v20 of the firmware is now out for the N95-1 which
increases battery length by 20-30% and includes Demand Paging support
(which is useful if you were having RAM problems before).
Oddly, my N95 is now recognised as an N95 8GB by my PC now I've updated
it. Is this just the firware fooling it, or have
3 been getting N95 8GBs and poisoning them with their shitty software?
Thanks all!
Mike P
It means that 3 will be getting the N95 8GB soon, Yipee! I'm due an
upgrade in Jan 08.
I'll probably be debranding it the first day I get it right enough, but
FREE upgrade is a FREE upgrade.
I've used the generic European firmware, not 3's firmware. That's what's
confused me a bit :-)
