A mate of mine is complaining about what seems to be SMS spam that

He's received about 10 of these SMS just this weekend alone.
The SMS come from the number +447939670739 and contain only a date
and time.
A typical SMS message was simply: 08/09 18.36
That mobile phone number belongs to a woman as I just called it.
Your friend might wish to try something similar and asking why she
keeps sending your friend text messages.
The only reason I can think of sending randomly timed messages is to
see when the mobile phone is turned on or off with a delivery receipt.
Poor cow is probably going to get inundated with 'funny' phone calls now.
It was probably not a good idea to publish her full phone number on the
internet. She could be completly innocent here, might just have your mates
number by mistake (typed a number in wrong or somthing).
