hi all,

slight problem very odd,

when dialling natwest business banking on 0845 6072607 no problems
whatsoever, however, when calling via 0115 9500526, (obtained via
saynoto0870.com), it comes up connection error.

When I dial this number from any other phone it goes straight through no
probs. I have tried by calling with and without 141 in front of this
number.

any ideas or are t-mobile becoming clever ?

I just dialled that number from my T-Mobile Flext contract phone and
got 'Connection Error' too.

Nick,

My tariff is flext too, i'm on the flext 50 plan.

weird one this one isn't it?

thanks for trying though. at least i know its not my phone!

Yes, an odd one. I just did a Google search for 0115 95 and it
appears to also be used for a number of phone extensions at Nottingham
Uni and other educational establishments around there.

This may just be a coincidence but is NatWest Business Banking based
in Nottingham? If not, I'd be wary that your call isn't going direct
to Natwest and was being filtered somewhere first for other reasons
which may not be as innocent.

A free website that lists numbers given by the general public for
credit card and banking would be a great way for Real World
'Phishing', especially as the website owner would be publishing the
numbers in good faith.

Do a bit of research and then, if it still smells odd, let
saynoto0870.com know so they can remove it.

Of course, it may be perfectly innocent!
