Is there a simple way to email a name and phone number to a mobile
phone, so it can easily be added as a 'contact' to that mobile phone?

It's called business card or vCard, and is more commonly done over text
rather than email. Typically the receiver of a vcard will be given
options like "store", "discard" etc.

I have lots of phone numbers on my computer in different formats, and
I would love a quick easy way to transfer them to my mobile.

Any ideas?

Synchronise the phone with the PC?
