Which indicates quite clearly that they don't treat existing customers
as favourably as they treat new customers. It doesn't make sense to me,
they all seem to measure success by how many *new* customers they can
sign which just results in many people taking a new contract with a new
number each year. The only ones who are penalised are those who wish to
retain their number and they then have to jump through hoops in order
the get a reasonable deal.

Those who spend enough will get a reasonable deal.

New customers get whatever deal they want regardless of their spend.
