Yesterday I got a text message inviting me to use 500 free sms at
07781485153.com. I ignored it completely.

Today I've got another message saying I've joined for£1.50 per week until
I
send STOP to 82885.

I have not joined anything. Should I send STOP? I'm afraid that if I do
that
will start it rather than stop it.

Any advice please?

Send the stop command immediately.

OK I have done now and have just spoken to O2. They will refund any charges
that have been made and I have the rep's name and extension number for
reference. Her first suggestion was to stop the Info Services and that would
stop them getting through???? Info Services has always been stopped.

However why should I have to stop something that I didn't ask for in the
first place? How do they get away with it?
