I had the same thing only yesterday, and my brain got quite fuddled by
the process. If I remember correctly you have to log in to your O2
account using the email address given, then validate your phone, then I
think it will let you proceed to top up.
Also note have been allocated an O2 email address - hmmm might be handy
- how do I set it up on my computer - must be settings??
Just webmail, I'm afraid.
If you have an I-mode phone you will also get an I-mode email address
which sort of defeats the purpose of the O2 address! You can customise
your imode address using your phone from 07######@o2imail.co.uk to
joeblogss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
I'm trying to find out if you can configure the email settings on the
phone to have one's regular email address as the reply to address
and/or see if the imail can be accessed via web or pop.
Regards
Thanks have activated the phone by logging in using username and
password and then tried to top up by using the link top up your mobile
phone now then get a pop up page which says
Web & Mobile Top-Up - Error
You are not registered for Web & Mobile Top-Up
Have also activated the e-top up card.
Not got an i-mode phone only an old nokia 3310 which works well enough
for me.
Yep I was looking for pop and smtp settings as well!!
Regards
Les
