Clearly I'm wrong! T-Mobile have confirmed that VoIP and Instant
Messaging IS banned, but the IM restriction may be dropped later this year.

I still stick with the whole "t-mobile are shit" philosophy with regards
to data services.

They'd rather you SMS someone than P.M them on msn. They're a pernickity
lot!

What's really weird is that when I updated the ROM on my MDA Pro last week (a process btw that I would not wish upon my worst enemy), using the official T-Mobile ROM at
http://t-mobile.iris-global.com/index.html
the new ROM contained the Pocket MSN software including pocket messenger. This software was not on the ROM that I was replacing! Talk about T-Muppet sending mixed signals...

The Vario I got from them had MSN Messenger on it too.

I'm glad I'm still on the original Web'n'Walk - no mention of these restrictions they're putting on their new W'n'W and W'n'W Pro.
