This is intended to be for a "proper" radio station, so the audio would have to get to the encoder via a leased line rather than be subject to best effort via the Internet just in case the stream would buffer en route.
Remember that unless the leased line is bought from the same company as the server is leased from, you will most likely be traveling over the wider Internet for some of the journey (the bit from the leased line ISP to the server ISP).
