The dg834gt as far as i know doesnt have any indication light of interent connectivity, whether it is sky branded or not. I know the new generation netgear routers do have a connectivity light, as well as an incredibly irritating unreliable quick installation setup that it forces you to complete before it allows direct access to the router settings. It means instead of taking three minutes to set one up, it take about ten minutes...

OK. Just checked the Netgear website and the dg834gt "foil" has the same symbol set as the Sky badged version. However, there are 9 LEDs on my sky unit, equally spaced, but the third from one end doesn't have a symbol etched in the foil and illuminates when the connection is made. It is only visible through the ventilation slots (unless you open the unit and scrape some of the "silver" from the foil :-) )
