Does that mean that the LED that lights with the Netgear firmware to show
connection established doesn't light with the sky firmware? It's between
the "tick" and the wireless LEDs, but blanked off :-(

The dg834gt as far as i know doesnt have any indication light of interent
connectivity, whether it is sky branded or not. I know the new generation
netgear routers do have a connectivity light, as well as an incredibly
irritating unreliable quick installation setup that it forces you to
complete before it allows direct access to the router settings. It means
instead of taking three minutes to set one up, it take about ten minutes...
