Anyone else having problems with Orange Broadband? Mine is still down
after 10 days or so!
WHat have you been told so far, I.e. the cause of the problem?

The cause of the problem according to Orange is that they had a line
fault and their end, which has now apparently been resolved. But I
still have no access to websites. Well apart from Gmail and Google
groups etc. Which is where I am posting this from!
All seems a bit strange to me, I can email and receive from themre no
problems, so there is a definite connection. ( I have also managed to
download a file from Limewire) I have tried Firefox and IE6, cleared
all the cache, cookies etc as recommended my one of the "technical"
team, but still no joy.
I have even gone as far as to reinstall Windows and the USB modem
driver (Speedtouch 330)
I am at a loss as what to do now
Its more fustrating than the broadband being totally down, as I
100% have a connection, but cant view yahoo or ebay etc.
Once when I was on the phone they asked me to go to a dos box and ping
orange.co.uk, this failed, with 4 packets sent, but with 4 failures.
I tried with yahoo.co.uk and it came back successful, but I still cant
access the website.
Does anyone have any idea?
Daniel
