OK, thank you but can you bear with me whilst I start again.
Firstly, I HAVE tried to understand the manual and I think maybe I could do
it if I was starting from scratch but it's set up for the wired networking
and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to turn something off or on to access the
wireless option. When my pc searches for a wireless connection, it doesn't
see the router.
If I try to log into the routers control panel via the web browser it says
Router Web Configurator requires a username and password. (I didn't set this
up). I've tried admin with no password but its not the right one. Is there
any way past this?
The manual will tell you what the default username and password is. It's
usually admin/admin or administrator/administrator or sometimea
admin/password.
If anyone actually bothered to check, the default is exactly what the
OP tried, admin and blank password.
