If they'd simply allocate for a few extra pennies for fuse holders to
protect the main components, not only would it assist tracing the
problem, but it would cost <30p to repair.
Fuses don't offer much protection to electronics so that would be a waste of
30p.
Boilers aren't complicated so it should be easy to repair the PCB if needed.
