WEP.. depends if the other devices support WEP only.. eg. Xbox 360, digi cameras
etc
Use WPA whenever possible.. this is also crackable if you use a simple password.
so get a hugely complex one from here: www.grc.com/passwords after all you
only have to enter it once.
As for hiding your SSID... no point. All that does is confuse other users
around you who setup their AP's on the same channel as yours by mistake because
they can't see if it's in use. And if they hide their SSID you'll both be none
the wiser why your connections keep dropping!
SSID's can be revealed very easily - just like MAC spoofing.
Keep it simple.. SSID visible for all to see (it is anyway!) and use WPA where
possible.
