No idea, but it sounded too complicated. You need to do this

1) connect the router wherever your most useful phone point is.

2) connect one PC to it via ethernet cable. Configure the router.

3) connect the other PC via the wireless USB dongle. Be aware that
such dongles don't always work very well.

4) (optional) if you want to, reconnect the first PC via wireless too.
If neither PC has an ethernet card, you should install one - they cost
a tenner, are trivial to install, and Windows will automatically
recognise virtually any card you can buy. At the very worst you can
use a USB to ethernet adapter.
