I have little experience in this field so have taken the advice of a
helpful assistant in my local Maplin store. I bought an Inexq wireless
router and after one or two minor setup problems I have a rock steady
system with superb wireless cover. I live in an old large stone house
with very thick walls. Usually, wireless is difficult as proven with a
number of cordless telephone system trials. This router is great as the
wireless signal is strong over the whole house and surrounding
outbuildings. I have it passworded just in case but, it is unlikely to
attract eavesdroppers as I have no immediate neighbours. It ids great! I
have the main house PC connected via a LAN switch on hardwire with my
daughter's laptops connecting anywhere in the house. It was so easy to
set up once I discovered that the default password had been changed. I
would be happy to recommend this piece of gear to anyone. I paid £59-99
for it and in my opinion, it was money well spent.
