Good point Martin, but I would have this newsgroup as being the 'big hitter'
broadband one in the UK, and if BT have a 1/3rd market share (even if its by
default), there's a good chance that a fair crack of these 'unwise'
broadbanders do read here and have the opportunity to knock BT.
Short of subscribing to a number of different ISPs to judge firsthand their
suitability, Dave is doing one of the next best things, and I hope he gets
lots more good advice.
I don't have any firsthand experience of other broadband ISPs, and am not a
'heavy' user, but was just giving Dave my 2p's worth.
It wasn't my intention to offend or draw criticism because of my choice
