I have always found analog TV cards to have disappointing picture quality.
One of the problems is that sensitive analog circuitry does not sit well in
a fast digital environment.

The best solution by far is to get a digital TV card which work much better.
When I first got one of these I was astounded by the picture quality (17"
TFT). And of course it can be recorded with no loss of quality.

Of course this assumes you can get freeview.!
