Re: sky remote tv code not working


I've been having some trouble programming a tv code that previously
worked on my sky remote so I can control the tv's basic functions.

I have a Toshiba tv and have tried all the available code online that I
could find and none are working include the 0156 one that originally
worked.

Sure the battery is ok, and that there is no strong ambient
lighting swamping the infra red signal?
Does the original Toshiba remote still work?
If the Tosh remote still works there are learning remotes,
mine does TV, VCR, DVD, Sky+, using coded functions
combined with some learned functions and macros.
A macro for 5 volume steps down, and another to
reverse it, on two spare buttons, tames noisy
commercial breaks, and loud DVD Dolby 5.1 action
scenes. Other buttons have Sky+ channel numbers,
such as for local BBC1 instead of London, and
a few other user friendly actions.
