Just put up with it for 2 months and it will get quieter. actually it wont
Don't understand. If the noise is keeping you awake why don't you switch
the TV off and the Digibox to standby?
I would just prefer to go to sleep with the TV on, with the timer set so
it will go off after I am alseep, which in turn will prompt the sky box to
go in to standby mode a while later.
The main problem is that once the TV goes off, the noise from the sky box
is so obvious that it is waking me up before it has also gone in to
standby!
but you wont be able to hear it as you will get used to it.
in the hot weather we use a portable air con in our bedroom , now that has
some fan noise!!!
2-3 weeks and it was not much of a problem 3 months and 'noise, what noise?'
my wife called it the 'keep awake machine ' when we first got it and moaned
and moaned. I said one night she had won and I did not turn it on. about 3am
.................... fan noise. she now realised what it was there for and we
have never looked back. Can't hear it now.honest.
