I have a 1.3m dish fixed to a 3rd floor apartment balcony
in Spain. It has a single LNB that I wish to change for a
MTI Supreme AK54-XT2BL 0.2dB Quad Universal LNB
but this is much heavier and I suspect that the arm will
sag quite a bit with the extra weight. My guess is that it
will move the LNB away from the focal point of the dish.
Any suggestions ?
1-Suck it and see, i.e. record the distance of the existing LNB from
the topmost point of the dish and see if the new LNB does make any
significant difference.
2-If necessary, either get a stronger dish or fit a couple of thin
wire braces to stop the LNB flapping in the wind.
