ITV haven't made any announcements regarding HD, their SD transmissions
are
already FTA so if they ever start HD it's likely they will be too.


Excellent, I'll get the box for the BBC (and hopefully soon ITV)
offerings, and look at upgrading my subscription once the football starts
again.


ITV won't be looking at HD untill possibly 2010, if they can't get HD on
Freeview *, I dont think they will go down the $ky route on their own, but I
could be wrong.

* If the analogue TV bandwidth is totally sold off and none given back to
the broadcasters to rent then there may not be any HD on Freeview fullstop.
