Just got myself upgraded to Sky+ now that I haven't got to pay the
10/month, so I'm a bit new to this.

So Sky+ lets you record two things at once because it has two tuners etc.
but the bit I don't understand is what can you watch when this is
happening if anything?

Can you watch one of the programs whilst it is being recorded? If so,
which one or can you choose?

you can watch either program being recorded, but no other channel. I tend
to watch something i have recorded previously.
