first year of new contract you are obliged to connect to the phone line

Mine stayed connected for about the first... 30 seconds, thereafter it was
never connected again. As I never ordered any PPV events or movies, it
didn't matter. Never was I contacted about it either. Seems an odd
requirement that they still insist on this.
