from sky, and whether it may too be FTA?

ITV haven't made any announcements regarding HD, their SD transmissions are
already FTA so if they ever start HD it's likely they will be too.

HD does not interest me, I pay for Sky soley for Sport, unless that becomes anywhere else I dont see any change for me, I use internet more and work more now so TV for me is just there when I want it, I pay a premium for Sky and enjoy it. ... If you took my Sport away and left me with what is left, then I would listen to music / radio channels in the day and just spend my evening on the net / socialising. ...
