It depends on your TV. In terms of picture quality, the various
outputs can be ranked in the following order:

1 RF co-ax cable connection (worst)
2 SCART cable - PAL
3 S-Video connection (only available on Sky+ boxes and only if your
TV can accept S-Video input)
4 SCART cable - RGB (best)

I assume you are using a SCART lead to connect the digibox to the TV.
(The RF aerial connection does not carry RGB signals). To receive a
picture in RGB format, you must ensure that the picture settings of
your Digibox are as follows:

SCART Control = ON
Video Output = RGB

Both of these settings are essential. Not everybody is aware that the
SCART Control MUST be set to ON. Otherwise, your Digibox will not
send the automatic "switching signal", which is essential for RGB
reception. If you set the SCART Control is OFF, your TV will probably
default to the RF input - OR your TV will process the SCART input as a
PAL signal (irrespective of the PAL / RGB setting on your Digibox)

Generally speaking, an RGB setting should provide the best picture.
However, some TVs do not cope with RGB as well as others. For
instance, the RGB setting may produce a "wishy-washy" picture on some
TVs - or may shift the picture to the left of the screen.

My advice is to select the option that provides the best picture on
your TV.

As far as your VCR is concerned, please refer to Jomtien's FAQ. As a
general rule, you should connect the VCR SCART socket on your digibox
to a SCART socket on your VCR. The VCR will receive PAL signals,
irrespective of the PAL / RGB settings of your digibox.
