Those were incredible - beautifully made and a pleasure to watch fly.
Clearly in the hands of very skilled R/C pilots!

I think that was actually Rebecca's Mean Machine! Mike had a pretty
impressive CATO too today.

The three stages all lit (which was good). The flight was a little
unstable until the final stage (which was less good). The final stage
lit pointing at the ground (which was bad - for the rocket at least!)

Richard's spack was quite impressive, quite a thud on that one :-) On
the positive side, it looks like with a bit of new tube the booster
section will fly again (the fins were fine), the upper section
recovered no problem. Nice boost Richard!

Congrats to Mike on the L2, very nice flight.

The I540 is becoming *the* motor of choice! Rod's AMRAAM had a bit of a
delayed ignition, so I missed it with the camera, but the sound of the
motor echoing back and forth off the countryside made up for it! Oh,
and the violent acceleration and big flame too :-)

Very nicely done, beautiful smooth ascent on that one.

Many many thanks to Chris Eilbeck for sorting me out with a motor, and
a cracking little motor it was too :-) 1475ft, 11G off the pad and that
rarely-seen blue flame. Just what I needed after failing to get my WCH
hybrid motor off the pad earlier :-(

Perfectly timed recovery and not too long a walk made it even better.
Despite having been armed and on the pad for most of the afternoon (on
and off) the NiMH PP3 on the G-Wiz MC seemed to have no issues.

Chris Bohin's WCH I110 flight was very nice, in a 4" rocket the takeoff
was majestic - I think his rocket reached about 1300ft with a 4-5
second burn, very nice flight. It was his first hybrid, first
electronic/2-stage deployment - many firsts. Very well done there
Chris!

I'll get my photos up in due course, I got a fair number of the flights
today, including some decent ones of mine for once :-)
