This person has an Old Sky Dish with an apparently intact cable into his
home. Tried connecting a Freesat box but got zilch. Will it need a new
LNB? How much (roughly) would it cost - the dish is bedroom window
height and the TV is down in the living room?

He will need to drop the elevation by about 2.5deg too.

And increase the polarization offset.
