Re: 9200T - Humax - HD Ready?

This discussion takes me back to the early days of 625 line bbc 2. Lots of
sets were made with 625 line timebases, but using positive mod and am sound.
They were certainly 625 ready, but not ale to actualy receive anything and
display it.
Its a bit like shoving a high definition d/a block in and then feeding it
with ordinary definition and it presumably then is quite happy to do this.
It seems to me that the internataional standards people have once again
completely failed to make a simple to understand one system for everyone.
Blimey.

Personally, I'd just like a high quality digital audio feed

No it's not. There are no DVB-T2 receivers available outside of
laboratories

DVB-S2, so you're OK for HD satellite channels, but only DVB-T, not T2, so
forget HD Freeview.
