A bit off topic but this group ,was very helpful with a previous
problem.
I have recorded a BBC radio programme using my August USB stick and
want to burn to a CD to play on a stand alone CD player but the player
will not recognise the disc format. I have tried burning to ,wav and
.wmv and now I need some help.
I think your best bet is to burn it as an "Audio CD" rather than a "Data CD"
(and use a CD-R rather than a CD-RW). Windows Media Player and other CD
burner software will do this. That should play on anything, though you can't
put much more than 74 minutes on a CD.
If you want to use a data CD, use MP3 format.
Thanks for the prompt replies.
Part of the problem was using CD-RW discs,
However after working my way through my stock of CD-R discs I find the
only way to do it on my system is to record using WMC (Vista), convert
to ,wma using Format Factory and then burn as an audio CD.
Burning using WMC doesn`t work.
Thanks anyway all is well now.
